What to expect with your event
Based on your event needs, we will provide:
- Admission for all guests
- Tables and chairs (15 round, 6 rectangle)
- Set up and clean up
- 2 Event staff
- Access to our private party rooms
- Catering available at your request
- Opportunity to bring in your own food/drink with prior approval
Do I have to provide a deposit?
Yes. Kid City requires a $200 deposit to secure your booking. This deposit must be paid within 2-3 business days after booking or your reservation will be removed. Customers can etransfer [email protected] or call 204-772-9000 to provide credit card payment over the phone.
Can I reschedule my event or cancel after booking?
Kid City understands that plans change. We provide families with the ability to reschedule their event ONCE in the event that the original booking time or date needs to be modified. In the event an event is cancelled the deposit is non-refundable.
Can I modify my event after booking?
Yes. Families are able to extend their event time. For example 2.0 to 3.0 hour. Please email [email protected] if you require modifications to your original booking.
Can I come in early to decorate? Can I bring decorations?
Kid City permits families to come 15 min prior to their event time to decorate. Families are welcome to bring decorations such as balloons, banners and backdrops. We provide tape for use and have hooks to assist with decorating our facility.
Can I book my private event mid-day?
No. Kid City does not close down its facility mid-day. We run our private events in the morning or evenings. This is to provide the least amount of disruption to the public. On Sunday-Friday we can start a private event in the morning and end at 11:45am or start the private event in the evening at 6:15pm. On Saturday we can start a private event in the morning and end at 10:45am or start the private event in the evening at 7:15pm. We have reduced hours on Saturday for private events because we host several birthday parties.
Can I extend my private event last minute?
If you have booked a morning private event we cannot accomodate any extensions. If you book an evening private event we are able to stay longer. Families are charged $45.00/additional 15minutes.
Does the event have to leave if it is a morning private event?
Yes. Kid City requires time to clean after the private event which requires an empty facility. We ask that customers kindly leave on time to give the public the ability to come and utilize our indoor playground.
What do families need to bring?
All children and adults are required to wear socks in our indoor playground.
Can I bring outside food or drink?
Kid City permits families to self-cater for their private event and thus you are allowed to bring in outside food and drink. No alcohol allowed in our facility.
